Pak Yuri, the Director of Navigation who I admire. Having visited this website, much appreciate can be delivered to this directorate for such effort compared to other directorate in Hubla. I was wondering if this simply website could be an initial effort as information channel to combat any piracy and criminal actions within Indonesia waters. It might be good tool as we could compare it with similiar service and operations made by "IMB" in Kuala Lumpur. If dominant ships coming in and out of Indonesia could be identified by INDOMARINAV, I think that's clearly a good step to initiate a sharing information from ships directly to this website and other ships for reporting any casualties in any waters and ports either domestically or regionally around Indonesia waters. Not only for the issue of security but of course surely for safety matters. |

Good day Gents,
IMO resolution 137 (76) is effective on Jan 2004. We have been doing maneuvering trials for the past 13 years.
We were already carrying out trials as per BSRA code and sname recommendations. My question is, can we be asked by MOC ( Komisaris Besar Polisi and Pertamina, New construction knows our ability to carry out such works in this region for new ships) to carry out such works as per the 'new' IMO resolution and report on our findings as per the resolution's requirement. Most attending surveyors in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia already know we are doing such works.
